Sidney Swearingen is an engineer and analyst with two years of experience modeling and analyzing electric power markets. She specializes in long-term capacity expansion and production cost modeling using ENELYTIX, with particular expertise in the ISO-NE, NYISO, and ERCOT markets. At PowerIntel, Sidney leverages her experience building power market models from the ground up to enable stakeholders to make smarter financial and environmental decisions.
Prior to transitioning to PowerIntel, Sidney worked on client engagements at TCR, including the cost-benefit analysis of long-term clean energy contracts, as well as the valuation of generation assets.
Sidney’s interest in energy stems from her passion for the environment and her fascination with the energy transition. She enjoys hiking, skiing, running, and biking.
